Our leased car stopped connecting to our phones.

No navigation through the multimedia system, No Spotify.

An inconvenience, yes. But Getting help became the real problem.

The leasing company told me to arrange a warranty claim with the garage.

The garage explained that the lessor, as the vehicle owner, had to open the claim first.

Back to the lessor.

“Schedule a visit, and we’ll open the claim.”

Back to explaining why I couldn’t.

Round after round, I felt like a battered ping-pong ball.

Everyone had instructions for me.

Nobody took ownership of the next step.

Eventually, I lost my temper. I’m not proud of that.

I asked for a manager.

Hours later, the manager repeated the instructions, then pointed to the contract.

But how could I complete a step the garage would not allow me to take?

Then came: “The customer has to lend a hand.”

By then, I felt I had already lent ten.

It brought me straight back to aviation.

Imagine a customer asking us to manage an RMA, and hearing:

“Contact the MRO yourself. Once you’ve arranged everything, we’ll issue the work order.”

What value would we be adding?

Customers provide information, approvals and decisions.

Our role is to make that cooperation lead somewhere.

At Zooey Aerospace, that means listening, coordinating with suppliers and repair shops, following up, and explaining what happens next.

We cannot control every outcome.

We can take responsibility for our follow-through.

Are we helping customers move forward—or making them carry messages between people who should be speaking directly?

“𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲” is a responsibility we choose to carry.

What is one thing a supplier did that made you feel: “Someone is taking care of this”?

A few practical takeaways:

❓ What turns an inconvenience into frustration?

Repeating the problem without anyone moving it forward.

❓ What should happen when a process gets stuck?

The responsible parties should speak directly and agree on the next step.

❓ What does ownership mean in aviation support?

Coordinating the requirement, tracking progress and keeping the customer informed.

❓ Does good service mean always saying yes?

It means giving an honest answer and following through on your commitments. https://lnkd.in/p/d8iGdDPK
